The Law Society of Ontario defines the scope of practice for paralegals in By-Law 4. Our Paralegals can provide legal services in the following areas:

    3. Tribunals established by the Legislature of Ontario or the Parliament of Canada..
  • Assisting with the selection, drafting, completion, revision, or preparation of documents to be used in a proceeding.
  • Negotiating a party's legal interests, rights, or responsibilities regarding a proceeding or its subject matter.
